This was my very first debut 12" (not my first appearance on vinyl that was B Boy Records with a Boogie Down Production Remix 1988). I was paid $500 for this mix by Jeff the label chief at Rave Records (Requestline) in New Jersey. I did this mastermix on a Korg DSS1 sampler as it was my very first sampler also used a Yamaha MT100 Cassette Four Track and just ping ponged the tracks as I mixed them together on the techniques. Fun memories and quite a shock to actually get paid for a mastermix and be on vinyl no less!! ps I was living on top of my fathers Sporting Good Shop in a makeshift studio and the ceiling was so low that you could NOT stand up. Looking back it was absurd that I had instruments in that building at all let alone lived there.
